Privacy Policy

Information on the processing of personal data and cookies (GDPR).

Last updated: 2026-07-03.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Golarnia sp. z o.o., ul. Gen. Zygmunta Waltera-Jankego 147, 40-617 Katowice, VAT ID (NIP) 9542812791 . Contact: [email protected], phone +48 783 680 673.

2. What data we process and why

  • Contact — if you email or call us (data provided voluntarily), to answer your enquiry. Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Bookings — handled by the external Booksy system. On selected pages the Booksy calendar is embedded in an iframe that loads only after you click a booking button. In that case you provide booking data directly to Booksy and we never receive it — Booksy is a separate controller, see its privacy policy.
  • Statistics & marketing — usage data collected by analytics and marketing tools (incl. Meta Pixel) only after you give consent. Basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

The site uses essential cookies required for it to work and — after your consent — analytics and marketing cookies:

  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — measuring ad performance and conversions on Facebook/Instagram.
  • Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — server-side event forwarding, described below.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — traffic statistics and how the site is used.
  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) — measuring conversions from Google ads and remarketing.
  • Google Consent Mode — managing consent for Google tools.

Meta Pixel loads only after you click "Accept". Choosing "Essential only" means it is not loaded.

Google tools (Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag) run in Google Consent Mode advanced. They load when you open the page, but until you give consent they write no cookies or identifiers to your device — they only send anonymised, aggregated signals that cannot identify you. After you click "Accept" they operate in full, including cookie storage.

Server-side event forwarding. Clicks on the booking button, the phone number and the directions link are also forwarded to Meta from our server (Meta Conversions API). What is sent: the event name, the page address, your IP address and your browser information (user agent) — plus Meta Pixel cookie identifiers if you consented to it. This transfer happens regardless of your cookie choice, because it does not rely on cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring ad performance). You may object — see section 8.

4. Consent and its withdrawal

You can withdraw consent for marketing/analytics cookies at any time by clearing cookies in your browser settings (which re-displays the banner) or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. Data recipients

Recipients may include the service providers we use: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Google Ireland Ltd., Booksy International sp. z o.o. and our hosting provider.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Using Meta and Google tools may involve transferring data to countries outside the European Economic Area (incl. the USA) based on standard contractual clauses or European Commission adequacy decisions.

7. Retention period

Contact data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any claims. Cookie data — for the period defined for each cookie or until consent is withdrawn / cookies are deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability, object, and withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).

9. Contact
